The story of a blind girl

in Moral stories

There was a blind girl who hated herself just because she was blind. She hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He was always there for her. She said that if she could only see the world, she would marry her boyfriend.

One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her and then she could see everything, including her boyfriend. Her boyfriend asked her, “now that you can see the world, will you marry me?”

The girl was shocked when she saw that her boyfriend was blind too, and refused to marry him. Her boyfriend walked away in tears, and later wrote a letter to her saying:

“Just take care of my eyes dear.”

This is how human brain changes when the status changed. Only few remember what life was before, and who’s always been there even in the most painful situations.

Life Is A Gift

Today before you think of saying an unkind word–
think of someone who can’t speak.

Before you complain about the taste of your food–
think of someone who has nothing to eat.

Before you complain about your husband or wife–
think of someone who is crying out to God for a companion.

Today before you complain about life–
think of someone who went too early to heaven.

Before you complain about your children–
think of someone who desires children but they’re barren.

Before you argue about your dirty house, someone didn’t clean or sweep–
think of the people who are living in the streets.

Before whining about the distance you drive–
think of someone who walks the same distance with their feet.

And when you are tired and complain about your job–
think of the unemployed, the disabled and those who wished they had your job.

But before you think of pointing the finger or condemning another–
remember that not one of us are without sin and we all answer to one maker.

And when depressing thoughts seem to get you down–
put a smile on your face and thank God you’re alive and still around.

Life is a gift – Live it, Enjoy it, Celebrate it, and Fulfill it.

How does he walk away in tears without eyes?

2. Ace — December 6, 2008 at 3:04 pm

Thats a nice question!! plus how did he write the letter??

3. Andra — December 9, 2008 at 2:29 am

Well, Eric, people do cry even if they can’t see! Tears have nothing to do with sightness!

and Ace… as he was not born blind he knows how to write like seeing people! so it’s not impossible, harder maybe but not impossible! ;)

Take care! ;)

It is very very touching and real inspiring stories giving value of each thing mentioned.

5. Normal Person — January 13, 2009 at 9:13 am

I think the story has a wrong moral: the two should develop themselves in the same direction and not in the opposite directions.

The blind can see now and the other lost his eyssight. Did he discusse his intention with her first before he made the donation? Does he has the right to put the life of the girl in the way he wants to without telling her his intention? What he wants is to make the girl his wife, not to make her happy to spend her life with a blind man.

If she didn´t even know that he was not blind, I wonder if they had the basis of communication. The eyesight is only a symbol of our abilities. You can give someone the eyes, the legs, the money, but not the ability to us them well.

6. Julene — January 26, 2009 at 8:40 am

Why didn’t he just give her one eye?

And can you really blame her? Who wants to be with someone who is always giving them the eye?

7. Babiicute3 — February 6, 2009 at 9:57 pm

Thats just sad and touching.
I wanted to cry…
I feel sorry for the boy.
I understand how he feels..

8. Pooja — February 14, 2009 at 5:07 am

It is a nice and touching story. Really, people now a days easily forget the assistance received.

9. Amina — February 20, 2009 at 8:46 am

That was a really good story is this true?

10. Bhati — March 9, 2009 at 6:45 am

Really it’s a very nice and heart touching story. But according to this time situation we cannot trust on girls specially. They always look towards good things, they try to copy each-others, they don’t want a good hearted partner, but expect good looking and rich partner to enjoy her life……… the moral of the story is not…that she left him bt is that NEVER TRUST ON GIRLS IF U REALLY WANT TO B HAPPY IN YOUR LIFE.

11. Vikki — March 10, 2009 at 7:56 pm

I like the story very much. I was just so sad about the boy who gave his eyes to her. He should have told her in the first place. Communication is really very important in any relationship.

12. Vijay — April 1, 2009 at 9:03 am

Andra you are right, m impressed. its for those who read only but don’t feel. Great…………

And I urge all true lovers that sacrfices & help should be done after marriage.

I think the title of the story should be “How I Live Now”

13. Apoorva Rashmi — April 6, 2009 at 4:00 am

It’s really a nice story….it shows how da mentalitty of the people changes according to the satuvations….

14. Arnab — April 21, 2009 at 2:37 pm

Fantastic and heart touching story… shows the real meaning of life….we have to learn a lot from this story.

15. Grub — April 26, 2009 at 1:01 am

Really Bhati, you are just misogynistic and sick in the mind. “Never trust on girls”…. fucking idiot. Who’s there to care for the children if not for the mother or sister. What if I say guys have nothing to show for but only to swing their dicks about and trumpet “Never trust on girls”. Ladies, see what some of us have to live with– utter tools; whilst they crawl about earth, waging war on each other, practise corruption.

16. Lina — April 26, 2009 at 11:40 am

I think the girl she have 2 dieeeeeeeeeeeeeee

She has 2 be in hell

17. Burns.R — April 29, 2009 at 9:18 pm

Grub, your comment was a ridiculous 19th Century view and I was ashamed to think that there are ignorant people such as you still living in the world today (and would I be correct in presuming America not Scotland?).

You have unfairly labelled the entire male species on the basis that you have had… (my estimate is four) bad relationships with men. Have you ever thought the problem may lay with you and not mankind? You have implied that no woman has ever given in to comsumerism, or made an unforgivable remark, you imply that men cannot perform tasks as aptly as women, and let me tell you lass, you’re leading yourself down the rabbit hole because it is presisely these views you’ve just mentioned that keep advertisers pressing these small truths on you. You will never be truly free from these small ideas that you expect until you learn not to expect them.

And besides which, Bhati was right in one respect, this girl was certainly not to be trusted, and I assume that his response had as much to do with the women s/he has been involved with as yours has to do with the men.

The story itself leaves a fair bit to be desired although I hope that it does cause people to think about the things they do as needless hurt occurs seemingly everywhere these days…

18. Lilly — May 15, 2009 at 3:34 pm

That is really sad, I just got it in a forward. But at the same I agree with “normal person”. I just feel kind of sorry for him, was this a true story? Well that was true love, he wanted to have her love forever, he wanted to try to make her life better, but instead he got rejected just because he was blind.
Take care,

19. Hamed — June 6, 2009 at 4:39 am

Today my girlfriend broke up with me cuz she doesn’t think God wants us together and she knws I have nothing I am kind of lost my every thing on her.

I just wanna tell her take care of my soul cuz its ganna be w her forever.

20. Seba — September 18, 2009 at 11:23 am

It is really a living story. I congratulate the thoughts of the author. Before we could commend on the story let us place ourselves in the place of these two characters. I just can’t criticize any of them for this because they have conscience. My tears r falling for the boy. Thanks 4 the story.

21. Eyza — September 27, 2009 at 4:29 am

Great words about life THANKS a lot to give the good words

26. Tarun (Dev) — November 17, 2009 at 3:02 am

Girls are used to for this kind of behaviour, but here the boy is in fault as he has not dared to share the things with girls. Any ways its a beautiful moral where we should learn that not to forget the person from where you got love affection and care, this is costless………..

27. Praveen — November 26, 2009 at 1:33 am

It is difinetly true that if u speak anything u must think of it ….

28. Rem — November 27, 2009 at 12:02 am

That is a good story, it only shows that not everything you wanted will be given to you, why do always people focus on good things??? There should always consequences in everything we do…

29. Ayesha — November 29, 2009 at 5:15 am

It’s a good story but no one should love a blind.

30. Munesh — December 6, 2009 at 2:05 pm

It a thoughful & sad story but all that spice up or make up life.

31. Sathyam — December 19, 2009 at 11:28 pm

This was truly a work soaked in compassion and rich in love.

I’m sad that some of the commenters did not understand the real meaning of the story which was: ” We can give without loving but we can never love without giving…”

May God bless The Team Who Had The Enlightened Vision Of Helping People To Find Their Answers Through Such Beautiful And Motivated Stories.

33. Carolyn — December 23, 2009 at 11:19 am

Love is supposed to be unconditional and as far as I am concerned neither the boyfriend or the girlfriend in he story is acting in an unconditional way.

34. Ayush — December 28, 2009 at 1:48 pm

The girl never loved him, when she need him then she used him. The boy should send the bomb with letter.

35. Ajay Tripathi — December 30, 2009 at 3:48 am

It is a very good story..ever read..Guys now i understand why our elders says this “Love is Blind”…Love never see good or and down..ugly and beauty

36. KAMRAN — December 30, 2009 at 7:34 am

@Ayush… It was the decision of the boy to give her his eyes… and if he wanted he could leave her blind and find another pretty girl… but he loved her… and in love, body parts don’t matter. Love in other words, stand for sacrifice.. and Andra, you did well to answer those two fools… Take care.

There was a blind girl who hated herself just because she’s blind.

Her boyfriend walked away in tears, and later wrote a letter to her saying. “Just take care of my eyes dear.”

38. Thomas — January 8, 2010 at 11:41 am

He got someone else to write it? Like huh?! He delegated it, out-sourced or remembered how to write it. Remember he could see before. Anyhow, enough with trivialities. It just a story.

39. Vidit — January 10, 2010 at 8:24 pm

As truly said by someone, anything we have is worth a chicken broughtup at home. So we shoul appreciate our near and dear ones.

40. Juju — January 11, 2010 at 7:43 pm

Blind people can cry…. there are people who become blind because they cry their eyes out.

41. Meg — January 11, 2010 at 8:10 pm

This is an amazing short story. But why are the people on here fighting about men and women? Honestly you all have get over this fight. “LIFE IS A GIFT” Thats the moral of the story, so stop fighting and making other people’s lives harder. The point of this story is to love life and not blame it on different genders and cultures and countries. Also people talking about blind people being unlovable. They’re still people they just can’t see. that doesn’t stop them from love. So please stop fighting about nothing.

42. Shanin — January 13, 2010 at 11:00 am

how dare she said that to her boyfriend? she didn’t care?
what’s a nice story…

43. Bob — January 15, 2010 at 11:24 am

You don’t cry through your eyes but through the tear glands underneath your eyes.

44. Moses.I — January 22, 2010 at 4:41 pm

A good story but bad feeling. I request everyone not to fight upon gender, instead be kind and like each other.

45. Rosey — January 24, 2010 at 11:40 am

Outstanding stories and the morals too.

46. Ch Muneendra Babu — January 27, 2010 at 12:31 am

A powerful story on human relations and about selfless love. Human relations are full of paradigm shifts and blessed are those who elicit unconditinal love. The man lost eyes but gained loss of fake girl.

47. SB — January 29, 2010 at 10:18 am

why do girls alwayse leave boy the boy whom love her lot , it hurts me lot ,

48. Assen — January 30, 2010 at 10:33 am

The conclusion is:

If you are not able to love all people and don’t feel compassion to their suffering, you are not able to love anyone including your “beloved” ones.

My personal experience proves it cos, I never had good relation with girls with cold, ignorant hearts. This point of view only show undeveloped personality between 6-10 years in ages:)

My advise: If u met someone like this just run away ASAP. He will not change ever!

49. Nyssa — February 6, 2010 at 10:52 am

Heyy ! thats a sweet story and touched my heart a lot.. the guy did everything good just for the girl but the girl didn’t appreciate it. It was really touching .

54. Nandish — March 2, 2010 at 3:52 pm

i personally feel that its a dumb story.. The guy when he was not blind and was with the girl would have definately did not act blind and the girl knew that he was not blind. When the girl got his eyes although the guy had not told that it was his eyes she had was she DUMB to not notice that he has lost his eyes nd something is wrong.. Totally dumb story,,

55. Krishna — March 4, 2010 at 7:24 am

Yes it’s good everybody should think upon themselves before and after one stage.

56. Krishna — March 4, 2010 at 7:26 am

57. TySawn — March 11, 2010 at 10:46 pm

Your comment did not make sense. The girl was blind, so how could she know what her boyfriend looked like? Plus, the guy got blind AFTER he gave her HIS eyes so now the girl could see, and what was the result of losing his eyes to his love?

BEING BLIND (cause now he has no eyes…of course…)

Also, She rejected HIM…the letter came after the rejection as it is clearly told in the story. At that point, she must've realized that her loving boyfriend was the one who sacrificed his ability to see so that SHE could be the one looking out in the world.

Altogether, this story is very emotional, as my best friend (Anonymous) is blind. Very 100% from the heart, Very True

58. Alv — March 15, 2010 at 3:49 am

That girl is stupid, that why she does that… and maybe she thinks that other rich guy would like her… she never knows how to appreciate other people gifts…
Life is just like a game… we have to face every challenger of life… but once we lost, never-ever can repeat our life time just like we restarting the game.

59. Sharon — March 16, 2010 at 9:11 am

It really touched my heart and I would like to follow this 10 points which proved that ”life is a gift” by everyone in this world thank u so much.

60. Harikesh — March 18, 2010 at 7:09 am

This is not called the real love. They both were only friends. Love can not be Selfish. The girl failed in friendship too.

61. TKN — March 18, 2010 at 8:12 am

A touching story… We have to look back and think of our life… What did we do for us and for others?

We should learn to appreciate everything in our daily life… Everything is changing… Thank life…

62. Abinash — April 6, 2010 at 8:42 pm

Really it’s a heart touching story, but there are a very few people who really sacrifice for the sake of others, we need to learn to sacrifice from the story..

71. Sandra — April 13, 2010 at 4:03 am

I was completely shattered. Really wonder if such things are possible. After reading N number of morals I think we have to love what we have and not judge others. Are we perfect to ridicule others. I sure know we are not.

72. Umay — April 13, 2010 at 9:37 pm

This is a good story and I love it.

73. Sarah — April 14, 2010 at 10:12 am

Here is how the real story goes

There was
a blind girl who hated herself because she was blind. She
hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He was always
there for her. She told her boyfriend, ‘If I could only see
the world, I will marry you.’

One day,
someone donated a pair of eyes to her. When the bandages
came off, she was able to see everything, including her

He asked
her, ‘Now that you can see the world, will you marry me?’ The
girl looked at her boyfriend and saw that he was blind. The
sight of his closed eyelids shocked her. She hadn’t expected
that. The thought of looking at them the rest of her life
led her to refuse to marry him.

boyfriend left in tears and days later wrote a note to her
saying: ‘Take good care of your eyes, my dear, for before
they were yours, they were mine.’

74. Sha — April 20, 2010 at 8:54 am

A very touching story… I got inspired from that really its too nice.. feel crying… Oh my god, live our remaining days with fun and love.

75. Manish Srivastava — April 21, 2010 at 4:37 am

I will only say that human being nature is as the girl of your story. This may be even seen in the comments of some people above. They didn’t think about moral of the story they are bothered about possibilities. i.e. maximum people think and see through eyes and not through their heart.
And the boy of this story thought opposite of we human beings. We people say such person mad, but he also knows what people will say of him but then also he does.

76. Tamasha — April 25, 2010 at 2:42 pm

Yea I understand that, see what he did was giving her his eyes and she left with them not saying TY and not even accept the proposal. When you look at what people have done for you, you turn your back on that person, never do that because it repeats. So don’t be selfish, learn how to mean things and live what you said you were going to do. Selfishness is not the case so think about it. Don’t ever do what she did because life goes around and comes back.

77. Jono123 — April 27, 2010 at 1:52 pm

What an act of complete selflessness. In most cases anyone giving away any object is a remarkable act of kindness. Giving away something so personal to an individual like your own eyes…. it is a manifestation of gods eternal love which we should be sharing with one another. What an example of absolute faith. Performing an act not knowing the outcome. Absolute faith.

Remarkable. I think many could walk away after reading this with much affliction of some sort.

91. Shruthi — July 13, 2010 at 11:08 am

I felt good reading this story, I learned a lot also and I know that what the girl did was wrong but I am feeling great about the love of the boy towards the girl and I also felt touching and bad for the boy who donated his eyes for his love.

92. IROP — July 13, 2010 at 6:10 pm

As a story it has pathos and bathos. It had to be written as given but to be totally realistic the guy could have given up one eye not two. Both of them could see fairly well with one eye. True there are problems but one eye is enough. BUT then you have no story. AND lucky you I would not be writting this missive. I have one question, would the girl spurn her lover if he only had one eye? If she did I would be heartily dissappointed. BUT WE WILL NEVER KNOW.

93. PN — July 16, 2010 at 3:45 am

Touching story! Good one!
But utter foolishness of the boy to trust the girl! Should have discussed with her and given one eye only!

94. Anisha — July 16, 2010 at 6:24 am

I was very tense but when I read this story I am relax now and I will try to smile every time. Thanks.

95. Nia — July 20, 2010 at 6:22 am

Hmm… it’s a great story…but was her boyfriend foolish according to you?

96. Bahar — July 23, 2010 at 7:34 am

It’s really a nice story and the true fact that very few people remember the curse which was done on them by someone but we all should remember one thing that if we do wrong with anyone the god is seeing us and writing it in his notebook and we definitely gets the reward of it one day so think before you speak and than do.

97. Bella — August 3, 2010 at 12:57 pm

@Nia – I think that her boyfriend just loved her and I think he thought that she loved him back because of what she said before about marriage with him I think that it was the girl who was foolish, she let go of someone who was selfless and understanding and loyal.

I think that the girl was ungrateful too because apparently she threw away her perfectly good future in favour of an eye. Now I know that eyes are important – they are my life really. But the poor boy thought he could get married to her and well – love is blind !!!

98. Major*cutie — August 5, 2010 at 7:21 am

They say that love is blind but in dis case it was absolutely blind.

The boy loved the girl despite of her blindness BUT WHEN D GIRL WAS GIVEN D GIFT OF EYES ON REALISING dat her boyfriend was blind left him in his miserable condition forgetting dat once upon a time she was blind too. The boy’s lov 4 d girl really sparkled through her selflessness.

99. Jasmine — August 11, 2010 at 2:38 pm

She is like an example for selfish people who just like themselves but the boy was the right example for people who love others from their deeps, I mean the real love and I always think that a true love can never be and this short story which carry so many meanings made me believe that more.

100. Dippi — August 17, 2010 at 6:46 am

Very heart-touching it :)

101. Henry — August 25, 2010 at 5:38 am

Our teacher has just given this story in our periodical test.

102. Nuzhat — August 28, 2010 at 4:12 am

The story teaches us never to come to conclusions in haste ans to show understanding and compassion during others difficult times. Moreover one must never forget the past…Good story and perfect end as it helped us learn from it.

103. Nice story — August 28, 2010 at 9:30 am

It’s a moral story about humans… we are capable of such incredible cruelty, evil etc.(represented by the girl) and also capable of great love, compassion etc.(represented by the boy). it can have many “translations”, but in the end it`s about our human nature…

104. Simran — August 29, 2010 at 7:13 am

113. Pakman — September 23, 2010 at 8:12 am

Very touching story, everyone here really fights alot but instead of being so negative just look at the story, learn from it and apply it to your life. Usually its the simple stories like this one that teach us simple but extremely powerful lessons, if we only allow ourselves to learn. So cherish your loved ones, thank the good lord for everything we are blessed with and be grateful for the people that love us and make sacrifices for us that we know about, and dont know about…..but thats just me though :)

114. Ice skater — September 23, 2010 at 1:46 pm

its not sad story instead if people forget your kindness move on, dont grumble instead see next 1 who needs it,

Really, very insuperable story. Its sad story but it also shows that some people love/like us because we help them in many ways. Its my request to those people who are selfish that in their life they never ever cheat anyone.

118. Nupur Chugh — October 13, 2010 at 7:59 am

119. Lauren — October 13, 2010 at 3:14 pm

It’s quite selfish because she wanted to marry her boyfriend but found out he was blind. She wouldn’t like it.

120. Jaspreet — October 26, 2010 at 12:23 am

It’s really a very touching story. I wana to cry. 127. Mash21 — November 24, 2010 at 6:11 am

I love it.. I feel sorry for the boy .. maybe the girl now realize that she owe her eyes ..

128. Mark Allan — November 27, 2010 at 10:07 am

The story is good. People just tend to forget what it is like to get to have what we have right now. It’s just so sad to think of that but, I still believe in what we, people can do for better.

129. Nyaah — November 30, 2010 at 7:42 pm

I’m sure that nobody sits here and reads all of these posts, and I’m guilty of it too, I read the first 5 or 6, then went to write my own and read the last, but I hope that someday, someone will read this, and hear my words that this is a great story, and it wasn’t the story at the top that touched me the most, it was the things underneath it that hit me the hardest…

Today before you think of saying an unkind word – Think of someone who can’t speak.

The first line of the underneath passage brought me to tears, because I realized how true it was, and I know, because my very own sister cannot talk, she has nothing wrong with her, but damaged vocal cords, and she is quite the person you would do anything to be with, and with the simple fact that she cannot talk, but I sit here and say mean things, and laugh, and complain about alot, but she can do nothing at all with her voice…

130. Kapil — December 5, 2010 at 12:35 am

Love is not blind but people are blind who can’t see love.

131. Ashok — December 9, 2010 at 7:55 am

That is a reality one with all the girls.

132. Ghanashyam — December 10, 2010 at 1:52 am

I liked the way you all are responding to this story, this is what we need to know the views of each individual, thanks to all…
and about the story, I also liked it sooo much and just want to say this: When you love someone truly, you’ll not think any more u just want to give to the extreme to make ur love Happy….so the boy does….but got just opposite……

So I just want to say u all …that don’t expect any thing from any one and give everything…..may be one day they’ll realise that…..

133. Sarah — December 11, 2010 at 10:01 am

Wow it’s a very touching story I almost teared up :(

135. Baxw6 — December 26, 2010 at 1:13 pm

I think It’s a weird story because the boy could donate her, one of his eyes then both could see

136. Kenta — December 28, 2010 at 9:57 am

Well it’s just a story!

137. Glenn Miller — December 31, 2010 at 11:29 pm

140. Sapan Raghuwanshi — January 2, 2011 at 11:06 am

This is a very true & realistic story….. I think such incidents..somewhat we all have experienced…. but can anyone tell the solution of such human nature…..

141. ParanormalCookie — January 2, 2011 at 8:53 pm

I don’t know what to say to this.. Makes me cry :’/
I understand the girls point of view..
But the boy.. He gave up what he had and she didn’t
Just for her love.

I wish I will be in love the way the boy did….

143. Trupti Ranjit Jain — January 10, 2011 at 5:03 am

It’s a really very nice story. Why the boyfriend did’t tell her that he donated his eyes.

145. Romnil — January 13, 2011 at 5:45 am

146. Dey — January 16, 2011 at 6:51 am

147. Biplab — January 16, 2011 at 6:53 am

The story is short but has high morality in it.

148. Prasiddha Bhaskaran — January 19, 2011 at 9:37 am

The girl is so unfortunate.

149. Priyanka Chopda — January 20, 2011 at 11:17 am

Love is nothing but sex. If you don’t agree, if you say that it is false, then keep your hands on your heart and ask yourself, have you slept with your bf/gf? But one thing, don’t love a girl or a boy for sex but love to keep them happy and content.

150. Marissa — February 2, 2011 at 7:20 am

This is such a meaningful story… The girl was so stupid and foolish not knowing that once upon a time she was blind and was loved and cared by a loving and loyal guy who was ready to sacrifice anything for her… and now after she had the ability to see, she forget the love that her bf had showered on her!!!

As a girl myself, I think that this girl should be punished and rejected. The guy in the story is just who I am looking for, a guy who does not care about how you look but care about how much the girl loves him. He knew that the girl loved him so he stayed loyal to her and asked her to marry him after she could see… but she idiotically rejected. He should have told her his intentions before donating his eyes to her.

By the way, a very touching story that made me cry!!!

151. anjali — February 4, 2011 at 10:08 am

nice and heart touching story

152. Praveen — February 9, 2011 at 7:52 am

I think, he was wrong, he would have given his one eye to her, If he did so, both can see each other and she can marry him……

153. aravind — February 17, 2011 at 6:40 am

love and lust are not only things a life has but also a great experience and many inspirations and aspirations and a great belief towards others and only then I say this world will become the next place to heaven

154. Edgar — February 22, 2011 at 10:28 pm

even if he were to tell her he was going to give her his eyes how the hell do we know she wouldn’t lie about still getting married , i mean she clearly is a cold heart b1#$h

moral of the story= love it’self is blind

155. Said hajji — March 6, 2011 at 3:42 pm

A touching story. It is a warning to those who could do shame. Human mind changes as its status changes. Excellent.

156. ashi anand — March 12, 2011 at 12:17 am

The girl did a wrong job, she was very rude. Her boyfriend’s love for her was a true love.

157. chrisina maria hunt — March 21, 2011 at 11:14 am

wow she didnt even relize wat he did for her if i was blind and my boyfriend did that i would marry him in a quick heart beat you see you cant find very many guys out there who would even think about doing something like that for someone they love so that gurl must feel gulity for saying no after he donated his eyes just for her to see what the world looks like wow i well be thinkn about that for a verey long time

158. chrisina maria hunt — March 21, 2011 at 11:17 am

wow julene i just read ur comment thats rude you see u apparently dont understand how it feels to give up something for someone u love

159. The blind boy — March 23, 2011 at 2:14 pm

My friend wasn’t blind so I told him to write the letter and this coment too.

160. mexy — March 29, 2011 at 6:47 am

The story was really good but I am so regret about the person who donated his eyes for a girl who didn’t love him.

161. Serena — March 29, 2011 at 6:16 pm

Stop laughing about this cause he wanted to marry her and she wanted to marry him just wanted to be able to see first so he gave her his eyes and even though she said she would marry him she judged him instead. He didn’t judge her when she couldn’t see cause he LOVED her enough to give away his sight FOREVER but she didn’t care and that means she’s a STUPID JERK

162. Shanu — March 29, 2011 at 10:17 pm

166. JT — April 15, 2011 at 8:25 am

Just like each of us have our opinion about this story she had her right to her opinion and to make a response as well…many stories like this are not about that man or that woman…but are more about you and me…as they make us look at ourselves…I pray I would not be that self serving..but have to admit it does happen…The Lord is still working on this heart!

167. Queen Esther — April 18, 2011 at 3:04 am

The story was good but one thing we must learn is to always keep our words and promises. If the blind girl had agreed to marry her boyfriend, sooner or later, she would understand that her boyfriend did something great for her and she would love him forever.

168. dr. jhackal — April 18, 2011 at 10:45 am

For those who had negative comments about the story.
basically the whole story is all about LOVE.
people who can’t appreciate the story do not know how to LOVE..
he sacrifice his eyesight for the girl because he loves her unconditionally.
some parts of the story is omitted because the true story says that the girl wants to see the things in the world and want to marry his boyfriend that’s why the guy gave his eyesight to her girl.

169. satish — April 18, 2011 at 11:06 am

I think that he should have donated only one eye. Then she could have not refused

170. satish — April 18, 2011 at 11:10 am

or should have married her first

171. jayanthi — April 21, 2011 at 6:41 am

Story was good but in practical life I don’t believe any of the guys will love the girl faithfully but in practical life girls love is the best of boys love. Girls doesent fear for any thing if the guy love is perfect

Dont criticize girls love, Girls love is not cheep they are the best in love …Jayanthi

172. Patricia — April 21, 2011 at 8:18 am

Eric & Ace: Before asking those questions, you should get educated….It’s common sense……

173. elias — April 23, 2011 at 2:47 pm

Too many good meanings for this story, and the only ones who understand it are the ones who know what love means

174. Swapna Priya — April 24, 2011 at 1:23 am

it is very inspirational story, because nowadays all people dont want to remember their critical stages, when they were facing it, in my view, this story is showing reality.
the girl has to think of him, because when she got her eyes, she saw his lover is also not having eyes. at that time she has to realize he is also blind, but he never complaint anything about the blindness. always he was happy with me, and he made me to live happy.
we should not forget our loved ones at any stage.

it’s a very touching story. it teaches us about human nature, which changes according to the situation.

181. Dinesh — May 2, 2011 at 4:31 am

I have seen some of the critics of this story………but I personally feel that, critics should not follow the logic……..every story leaves some messages and the author did successfully in this regard…….thanks for such a touching story….

182. sagar shinde — May 3, 2011 at 1:26 pm

I think the boy intention was good but the way was wrong.
By donating his both sight he himself have become burden on others which may involve parents too…. The right way was to donate single eye so that both of them can take responsibilities of life equally to lead happy life.

You should be happy to see her happy at any cost.
So, the boy was really in love with girl.
Bad Luck for girl.

191. peekay — May 11, 2011 at 12:42 pm

Touching story indeed.. the girl must have felt pathetic after reading the note “take care of my eyes”. Was that the intention, if he loved her and donated the eyes out of his love for her he should have walked off feeling happy for her. Incase he donated eyes just to get married to her then offcourse his intentions may be questioned. Expectations destroy love always…….. idealistic but true.

192. James — May 16, 2011 at 6:19 am

Heres my story:

There was a girl named Sabrina, and she had a crush on a guy named John. Sabrina had long brown hair and glamerous blue eyes, while John had blonde hair and hazel eyes. She had always been in love with him.
One particular day, Sabrina want to school. She was walking when John suddenly came in her way.
“Hey Sabrina”
“H-h-hey j-John”
“I have a question for you”
“Will you go out with me”
With that, Sabrinas heart leaped with joy as she hugged John and said “YES”.

There relationship had been going quite fine. Everyday, John would give Sabrina a Teddy bear. Everyday.
They saw eachother at school but John seemed to be ignoring her. He always seemed to be with his friends.
Still, he carried on giving her teddy bears.

When Sabrinas birthday came up, she couldn’t wait to see John. She waited all day next to the phone waiting for him to call.. but nothing. As the sun started to set, Sabrina stood up angrily and throwed the phone on the floor. There was a sudden knock on the door, she opened it and saw John.
John said hi and gave her a teddy bear as he walked away. Sabrina yelled to John to come back and he did.
“Dont you know what today is John?”
“uuh.. tuesday?”
“umm. i dont know”

“Say you love me John”
“look, I think its way too fast to be getting into that stuff. Im sorry, but if you really want to hear someone say that, find another boy.”

Then John walked off and left Sabrina crying. The next day, Sabrina was walking around and she saw John recieving a Big fluffy teddy bear from another girl. She walked up to John and pushed him.

“Here, take this teddy bear and go home”
“no baby, sh-

John gives Sabrina the teddy but she throws it on the road.

“i…im sorry sabrina”

Tears started to wield up in Johns eyes and he makes his way towards the middle of the road to retrieve the teddy bear.

As John reached the middle, he bent over to pick up the bear. Suddenly, a out of control truck came swerving al over the road.
it was too late.

Sabrina lay in her bedroom crying. It was her that got John killed. She picked up that big teddy bear with Johns blood still on it and squeezed it. suddenly, the bear says “i love you”. She says “no no no!”
She squeezes it harder and hears johns voice in the teddy bear.

“hey baby, this is a recording. I know it was your birthday, but i wanted to leave this as a suprise. At first, i was shy. But now, i can say I LOVE YOU. with all my heart. You are my angel, my baby. I love you.”

Sabrina cries even more.
