The Vietnam War broke out. Followed the heart, the young husband joined the military and sacrificed his life leaving behind his wife and kids.
Life postwar was very hard, often with not enough food to eat. Still young and beautiful, the wife refused to remarry and dedicated her entire life to raise her kids with the best possible care and education.
An opportunity came, the first born son immigrated to America, studied hard and became a NASA Engineer having a good life.
The son sent home letters often, together with much money for mom to spend, however, Christmas after Christmas, New Year after New Year, with the many excuses, the son stubbornly refused to travel home to visit mom.
When the mother died, the son returned and organized a big funeral but people did not see him shredding tear.
Mother left behind a chest that she always placed at the top of her bed. During the funeral, the son opened the chest and suddenly bursted into tears, sobbed, embraced his mother’s coffin and screamed hysterically, “Mom! Mom!”
Everyone looked at each other and looked at the chest. It was full of $100 dollar bills and a piece of paper.
In it read, “Son, I don’t spend too much money. I miss you a lot. Every time I hear a motorcycle passing by, I run out the door but it wasn’t my son. I saved this money for you in case when you get sick.”

A real-life story in Vietnam
God can not protect everyone.That’s why he sent our mother to be with us.
In university, i do not have more time staying with her. Now, i realize i miss her very much.
Mother’love is always present.Whatever did the child do,mother loves child forever.

There is no other love like a mother’s love to her child
If someone will ask me about the meaning of TRUE LOVE…. The answer will be ” true love means MOTHER, and there is where it originate”
Beautiful Reminder of true Love… Remember the only soul in this world who doesn’t expect anything from you other than love from her children, is none other than our “MOM”. No matter how old you become you are always a kid in her eye. Never hurt your mom even unknowingly…because don’t forget tomorrow you will also become a parent.

A truly loving story. Sometimes when my mom gets sick & told what she wanted to eat, I just ignore what she is saying but I later realise that it is better to spend our money on them rather than regretting the day they die. Love you mom & God bless you always.
A Mother doesn’t need the money that you earn, she only needs the precious time that she has spent raising us, in return. I love you Mummy. I really miss you from the depth of my heart.

She has more than one kid. Why didn’t she give the money to other kids who were still in VN? They needed it more than the son who lived and worked in the US.

A true life reminder. We do-not always need other people’s money more than their true love for us. If we love money more than a person sending then we are heading for hell… am encouraged to see my parents (and other loved ones) more and more.
