A son took his old father to a restaurant for an evening dinner. Father being very old and weak, while eating, dropped food on his shirt and trousers.
Others diners watched him in disgust while his son was calm.
After he finished eating, his son who was not at all embarrassed, quietly took him to the wash room, wiped the food particles, removed the stains, combed his hair and fitted his spectacles firmly.
When they came out, the entire restaurant was watching them in dead silence, not able to grasp how someone could embarrass themselves publicly like that.
The son settled the bill and started walking out with his father.
At that time, an old man amongst the diners called out to the son and asked him, “Don’t you think you have left something behind?”
The son replied, “No sir, I haven’t.”
The old man retorted, “Yes, you have! You left a lesson for every son and hope for every father.”
In this era of evil, such children are rare gems and equally rare to come by.
Nice story with a great or good lesson dear 😊.
Maturity in every situation is necessary, no lesson is “Useless” .
it was a very useless story
You probably don’t understand what the story is about.

It is really educating,i wish most children can read this because it contains lesson that can change someone positively.
A very good moral story
It’s really an interesting lesson
A wonderful and powerful story.
These type of moral stories are very much needed for the present generation to learn loving and caring for their parent.
The time, culture, change of life style, busy life and hard work to maintain self and the dependents followed with change in habits made the present generation ignore this kind of love and affection not only towards their parents but also the elders.
Though there are justified reasons for less caring to parents, but definitely not to the extent of ignoring, insulting, abusing and feeling them as a burden.
I am one among those old parents, deprived of this love and kindness.
Thanks for this wonderful moral story.
You made my eyes wet at the end.
What an inspiration

If you really love someone, you can never be disgusted. For example, mother to child love. You messed up yourself and all the disgust was done by our mothers, how many of us can take care of the mess like our family can?
In deed it is a heart touching story, the relationship of the son with his father.
Father took care of him and now was his turn. 2,000 years ago there came a Son who washed away all every ones’ dirt removed the stains of sin and opened the eyes of the word to behold His glory, His presence.
He said, ” If you have seen me you have seen the Father, my father and I are one “
