As a group of frogs was traveling through the woods, two of them fell into a deep pit. When the other frogs crowded around the pit and saw how deep it was, they told the two frogs that there was no hope left for them.
However, the two frogs decided to ignore what the others were saying and they proceeded to try and jump out of the pit.
Despite their efforts, the group of frogs at the top of the pit were still saying that they should just give up. That they would never make it out.
Eventually, one of the frogs took heed to what the others were saying and he gave up, falling down to his death. The other frog continued to jump as hard as he could. Again, the crowd of frogs yelled at him to stop the pain and just die.
He jumped even harder and finally made it out. When he got out, the other frogs said, “Did you not hear us?”
The frog explained to them that he was deaf. He thought they were encouraging him the entire time.
Wow
sometimes you just have to be deaf to sayings that will depress you
Forget about what negativity people are saying to you just focus on your goal because one day at the perfect moment you will ripped all your hard work.
Excellent collection
The point here is to ignore all the naysayers and just continue on trying until you see it for yourself that it is really worth a try or not.
If the frog is deaf, why did he responded after he got out? But it’s a nice short story though.
Of course, I understand it’s just a story, but good point!
Maybe there’s frog sign language 🤣
even though you don’t know how keep trying and be deaf to demotivator they will soon rejoice with you…. great lesson
One should be deaf to save his/her life lol
Once one stops trying, he will move on the verge of annihilation.
An encouraging story indeed.
Tried-less effort never get failed what i got from story thanks.
It’s an excellent story to be retold to a group during a motivational class or an ice breaking session to have the attention of the audience. The moral of the story is truly truly inspiring as it encourages to believe in yourself.
I love these little stories. They are truly gems. You can learn a lot from a simple truth. It’s usually the majority that is wrong. Believe in yourself and believe in God!
He should have pushed all the other frogs into the hole. Why didn’t the frogs fill the hole with dirt, and the 2 frogs could have climbed out? How did he answer them if he was deaf? Do deaf frogs read lips? Do frogs have lips?
Oh no, You just missed the point completely!
This has been part of humanity since creation, as l always said, failure is an option, if you accept it you Will be discouraged
Really nice story.
Good one
